This level of the Unicus Mathematics Olympiad (UMO) was an international competitive exam held online as well as offline for students in Grades 1-11 (year 2020-21). It tests the conceptual knowledge of the student acquired in the previous levels.
Congratulations to Samriddhi Mitra of Grade 7, PSBS who bagged the 1st Rank in the solo performance-Odissi held – under the senior category in the Heritage Art and Cultural Fest – National Level Inter School Classical Dance Competition.
Samriddhi is an avid dancer. Her genre is classical dance- Odissi and she participates in many national level events. She has many winnings to her credit over the last few years. We are proud of her achievements and appreciate her enthusiasm to represent in competitions.
Congratulations to Esha Gota & Preshta Dilip of Grade 4 & 5 respectively, for securing 2nd & 5th place in Carnatic Music competition organized by Heritage Foundation of Art and Culture partnered with Options Conceptual Services Pvt Ltd. The Event organized to bring out the Indian Music experience in the students of Grades 1 to 10.
While Esha performed a solo brilliantly on the online portal impressing the judges, Preshta is a budding musician who practices a lot to hone her skills !!! We wish the best to both young musicians of Presidency School, Bangalore South.
Apart from these he also received a distinguished performer certificate by Indian School Talent Search Exam (online) 2020 as she has scored international Rank -52.

Her research work on Madiwala Habitat was on floating plants (Macrophytes) and physico chemical analysis of water sample. For a period of three months, she was involved in collection of samples and testing.
This is second consecutive time our students have participated and won in this very prestigious Lake conference organised by IISc.
Our immensely talented faculty Ms. Preetha Jayan of Presidency School, Bangalore South, took part in this national level competition and made it all the way to the Grand Finale. She secured the THIRD position in finals which was held on 7th February 2021. The competition was judged by none other than renowned music director, Shri. Ramani Bharathwaj who was also the Chief Guest for the musical extravaganza.

She is also extremely skilled at Classical Dance and was selected as top 10 finalists in the (Kathak) Competition organised by Orissa Art and Cultural Foundation.
