Kargil Vijay Diwas Challenge for category Running 2k

Samriddhi Mitra (Grade 6) of Presidency School Bangalore, South took part and completed 2k under 15 minutes in a Kargil Vijay Diwas run. Kudos to little Samriddhi , who made us proud !!

Chess Tournament Winners in INVICTUS 2019

Presidency School Bangalore South won several awards at the Chess Tournament in INVICTUS 2019 organised by Euro school. The winners are:

Ruthivik S (Gr 5) – 1st position in the Under 12 category
Yukti Goswami (GR 8) – 1st position in Under 14 category
Sansita R Nambiar & Naga Rishab (Gr 9) – 1st position in Under 16 category!

Basketball Tournament Winners – Under 12 boys in INVICTUS 2019

Presidency School Bangalore South Won first position in the Basketball Tournament – Under 12 boys in INVICTUS 2019 organised by Euro School !

The students are- Mihir Jaiswal , Hridhay Suresh, Amartya S Iyer, Rudraksh Pamu, Matefn Khan, Thanveer Choudary, Likhith Reddy, Thavanesh and Nouman of Grade 5 and Rashmi Ranjan, Mohit Modi, Adit Bardhan of Grade 6.

Mayor Cup U 14 Volleyball Tournament

Presidency School received the 3rd place in the Mayor Cup U-14 Volleyball Tournament 2019 organised by Physical Education Sports Academy.

‘Too Fit To Quit’ competition

Tanish of grade 8 won the 1st prize in ‘Too Fit To Quit’ competition and received a cash prize of Rs. 3000/ organized by Garden City University.

“Winning isn’t everything, but it beats anything that comes in second.

Presidency School Bangalore South is always enthusiastic and motivates all the students to participate in various intra and inter school activities that help in the holistic development of children and to promote healthy environment.

Presidency School Bangalore South participated in the Inter Presidency sports meet held at Presidency School Bangalore North. It was a great opportunity for children to try a range of different sporting activities. Children got an opportunity to compete in sports  which included: Table Tennis, Swimming, Basket Ball, Throw Ball, Football and Chess.  Students bagged accolades in various categories. Nayati Thirulog Chander (second position in swimming), Gaurav Anand (second position swimming), Harshini Thirulog Chander (second position swimming), Rahul (first position in Chess), Zuhair, Amish and Ayush (first position in senior category Table tennis), Senior category (Grade 11 and 12) girls secured first position in Throw Ball, Senior category (Grade 11 and 12) boys secured second position in Foot Ball, Senior category (Grade 11 and 12) girls secured first position in Basket Ball, Senior category (Grade 11 and 12) boys secured First position in Basket Ball, Junior category (Grade 8-10) girls secured second position in Basket Ball.  Ritika  in senior girls’ category, and Anmol in senior boys’ category were awarded best player of the tournament respectively.

Presidency School Bangalore South came out with flying colours and indeed, it was a proud moment to cherish.

Akshath Karthik- Baseball Champion 2018 – 19

Akshath Karthik for grade 8 – Baseball Champion 2018 – 19 – He has been presenting the country in Baseball Tournament. He won the Little League championship – Baseball Tournament in Delhi.

Swimming Competition winners 2018-19

Harshini of Grade 8 won second position in the 50mtrs swimming competition and Nayathi of Grade 6 secured third place in 50 mtrs in swimming competition organised by Soundarya Central School, Bangalore.

Harshini of grade 8 won the second position – Silver medal in in 100 metres backstroke.
